I hope everyone who participated this month had a fun time reading Summer Half. It is one of the less well-known of the series, so I was hoping we would get more first-time participation. The people who commented or participated are as follows:
- Christine of All the Vintage Ladies
- Liz Dexter of Adventures in Reading
- Historical Fiction Is Fiction
- Penelope Gough
- Pining for the West
- Yvonne of A Darn Good Read
The next book, Pomfret Towers, is another reread for me, and in fact I’ve reviewed it before, but I am still looking forward to it. If nothing else, this project has allowed me to place people better as I go through the series and remember if I’ve met them before. I will be posting my review of this book on Tuesday, November 30, and I hope some of you will join me in reading it.
Happy reading, and here again is our little badge.
Here’s my Pomfret Towers review – I really enjoyed the lady novelists and guessing who would end up with who, seven years ago! https://librofulltime.wordpress.com/2014/08/31/book-reviews-pomfret-towers-and-the-house-in-dormer-forest-virago/
Great! But can you send me this link at the end of November when we do Pomfret Towers? I’m afraid I’ll forget it’s here.
Oh, I’ll try to remember to do so. Do you know anyone who’s looking for a full set of these up to the end of WW2 by the way? I’m thinking of passing along my collection …
Don’t know, but maybe someone will see this comment.
Sorry, I’m late with my comment. I really enjoyed Summer Half. It is my favourite of the series so far.
It’s a good one.
